Friday 25th December at 10.00 am, for the Solemnity of Christmas, the Holy Mass from the Milan Cathedral will be broadcasted live on Retequattro again. The Holy Function will be celebrated by Mons. Gianantonio Borgonovo, Archpriest of the Cathedral.
The Holy Mass will be preceded by an interview to Mons. Borgonovo, who will lead the public to discover the Candoglia Quarry, where the tale of the Cathedral began. In this unique place still today the Fabbrica proceed to the extraction of the marble indispensable for the Duomo, that from 1387 works for the protection and enhancement of the Milanese Cathedral.
The celebration will be accompanied by the Male Choir of the Musical Chapel of the Milan Cathedral, conducted by Claudio Riva and by Emanuele Carlo Vianelli at the organ.
The next Holy Mass that will be broadcasted live on Retequattro will be celebrated on Wednesday 6th January 2016, on the occasion of the Epiphany.
