Sunday 31st January 2016 at 10.00 am, for the Feast of the Holy Family, the Holy Mass from the Milan Cathedral will be broadcasted live on Retequattro again.
The Holy Function will be celebrated by Mons. Gianfranco Meana, penitentiary emeritus of the Milan Cathedral.
The Holy Mass will be preceded by an interview to Mons. Borgonovo, who will lead the public to discover the Great Duomo Organ and its secrets: it is the biggest pipe organ in Italy, remains firmly in second place in Europe for the number of pipes and ranks and it is one of the fifteen largest organs in the world.
After the first live broadcast on the 24th May 2015, on the occasion of the Solemnity of Pentecost, with this new opportunity the Fabbrica wants to offer – both to the city and to the entire Country – the chance to watch the Holy Mass from such a precious place as the Milanese Cathedral.
The celebration will be accompanied by the Male Choir of the Musical Chapel of the Milan Cathedral, conducted by Claudio Riva and by Emanuele Carlo Vianelli at the organ.
