Donations

For centuries the Veneranda Fabbrica has been providing for the design, preservation and promotion of the Duomo of Milan, but cuts to financial support for cultural heritage make it necessary for everyone to participate in saving an extraordinary monument, heritage of humanity.

The Donations Register

To be included in the digital donations register and in the roll that will be preserved in the Archives of the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo, we invite you to send a fax to +39 02 72022419 or e-mail donazioni@duomomilano.it with the authorization to use your personal information by filling out the DONATOR CARD. It will also be possible to add your photo to the site’s dedicated page. The photo must be sent together with the authorization to use your personal information.

Donation Certificate

For those who wish to receive one, a certificate for donations greater than €50.00 will be issued. Requests should be made by telephone at +39 0272022656 or via e-mail to donazioni@duomomilano.it specifying to whom it should be made out along with a dedication, if any.

Tax deductibility

PRIVATE CITIZENS

For natural persons, donations to the Organization can be deducted from gross income tax in the amount of 19% of the donation made, up to a value of €2,065.83 (art. 15, paragraph 1; section i-bis of Italian Presidential Decree nr. 917/1986)

BUSINESSES

For businesses, donations to the Organization can be deducted from company income up to 10% of the latter and in any case up to €70,000 (art. 14, Italian Legislative Decree 35/05 passed into Law 80/05); as an alternative, they are deductible from overall declared income, for an amount no greater than 2% (art. 10, paragraph 1, section g of Italian Presidential Decree 917/1986).

Art. 14 of Italian Legislative Decree 35/2005 paragraph 1 provides an express list of persons that can receive deductible donations.
Partial ONLUS – i.e. socially useful NPOs – (among which the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo di Milano) are the ecclesiastic bodies of the religious confessions with which the State has entered into agreement and the social promotion associations whose charitable aims have been recognized by the Ministry of the Interior in accordance with Law 25^th August, 1991, nr. 287, limited to the exercise of the activities listed in paragraph 1 of art. 10 of Italian Legislative Decree nr. 460 of 1997.
