Vespers with the Organ, an engagement with the Duomo's First Organist: Emanuele Vianelli

Bach, Brahms, and Bossi among the chosen composers

Saturday, 14 April, at 4:30pm the "Organ Vespers" return.

In preparation for the evening celebration of the Eucharist at 5:30pm in the Cathedral, every second Saturday of the month, from 4:30pm to 5:15pm, the Duomo offers a moment of musical meditation, interspersed with readings of several short scriptures that provide a "spiritual intonation" to the music.

The protagonist of this new engagement will be the Duomo di Milano's First Organist, maestro Emanuele Carlo Vianelli, who will perform the compositions of Johann Sebastian Bach, Johannes Brahms, and Marco Enrico Bossi during vespers.

As always, entry for worshippers will be free and through the Northern door (Piazza del Duomo, on the side of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II).
