Discover the Milan Cathedral Museum with a skilled guide of the Veneranda Fabbrica!
On Saturday, September 22th the Museum opens its doors, beyond the normal opening hours, to share its rich heritage of art and history with visitors and tourist. 28 rooms to learn about the history of the Duomo!
In the first exhibit hall, you could admire the precious Cathedral Treasury: liturgical and religious objects used in Milan Cathedral from the 5th to the 17th century, but originally kept in the vestry cupboards and housed in the Museum from 2013 to “share” these precious artifacts with the collectivity.
Exhibit hall by exhibit hall you can discover the close link between the Duomo and the city of Milan.
The whole city of Milan (common people but also rich merchants) has shared its own substances and the dream of the great construction of the Cathedral.
