How to donate
There are no limits or minimum amounts required to subscribe, €1 is all it takes to become a part of the Duomo’s great history.
All donors have the right to put their names in the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo di Milano’s Donor Register, in both paper and online formats, with the written consent and authorisation of the donor and/or those who receive the donation.
By making a donation, you will have the right to receive information and communications relating to restoration projects, initiatives dedicated to donors and to cultural activities promoted by the Veneranda Fabbrica.
Some benefits are provided based on the amount of the donation, one being the issuing of donation certificates which are given for amounts of €50 or more. The certificates can be sent to the donor via email or regular mail, or they can be collected from the Donations Office.
For the “Get Your Spire” initiative, if desired, the certificate can be personalised with the name of the particular spire for which the donation is symbolically destined, as well as with the name of one or more people to whom the donation is dedicated. It is therefore possible to give a gift to loved ones through an original gesture of generosity that translates into concrete help for the restoration of the numerous spires which crown the Duomo.
Each donor is treat on an individual basis and all donations are carefully recorded. A paper file is created and marked with a reference number which is then stored in the Institution’s Archives.
Every year there are numerous donors who support the work of the Veneranda Fabbrica, choose the way of donating amongst those listed that best suits you and become a part of the centuries-old history of the Duomo di Milano.
