Tribute to Paul VI
La Scala is back at the Duomo with Maestro Riccardo Chailly
An extraordinary musical event in the unique setting of the Duomo: for the first time the Orchestra and Chorus of La Scala Theatre, conducted by Maestro Riccardo Chailly, will present one of the most famous masterpieces of the international symphonic repertoire at the Duomo, Symphony no. 4 in B flat major by Ludwig Van Beethoven. They will also perform the Missa Papae Pauli composed in 1964 by Luciano Chailly. A tribute to St. Paul VI, who was not only a great Pope but also an unforgettable Archbishop of Milan.
