The Cathedral, with its 3,400 statues, 55 stained glass windows, splendid altars and paintings, is the most important example of the Gothic style in northern Italy.
Upon arriving on the Rooftops, take a stroll around on the roof of the city just steps from the sky, between spires and sculptures, and admire a truly unique and moving view.

The tour starts in the Archaeological Area where the ruins of the Baptistery of Saint John and the Church of Saint Thecla (4th century) can be found. These are all that remain of the ancient episcopal complex and are very fascinating places of great importance in the history of the city of Milan. The tour then continues inside the Cathedral where, behind the high walls of the Duomo, secrets and curiosities are hidden. During the visit, you will have the opportunity to learn about the meneghina or Milanese Cathedral through a magnifying glass which illustrates, in an unusual way, anecdotes, mysteries both big and small, and stories of history, art and faith. The tour finishes on the evocative Rooftops from where the marvellous panorama of the rising city can be seen.
