In addition to closed-door visits, always lead by a qualified guide from the Veneranda Fabbrica, small concerts can also be held after normal public opening hours.

Sala dei Milanesi and Archive Location

The Sala dei Milanesi and the Archive are located in the historic building of the Veneranda Fabbrica, right behind the Duomo, and enjoy an unparalleled view over the oldest part of the Cathedral, the apse.
This location, prestigious and finely furnished, is able to host events of different natures: meetings, conferences, congresses, conventions and cocktails.

In addition to the space, an exclusive visit experience to the rich and precious documentary heritage preserved within the Archive can also be added: the “diary of the city” that collects testimonies large and small linked to the construction of the Cathedral and the life of the Milanese people.

San Gottardo Church Location

Annexed in 2015 to the Duomo Museum following significant restoration, it is called “in court” due to it being the palatine chapel of the Royal Palace.

Commissioned by Azzone Visconti, whose funerary monument is preserved inside, the Church was built between 1330 and 1336 and preserves an important fragment of fresco from the Giotto school.
The space can also be requested for private initiatives such as meetings, conferences, and seminars. Its maximum capacity is around 130 people and it can be combined with the Museum for exclusive guided tour experiences.
