To me, Milano is…

I am a man who lived in many cities: I was born in Milan, then I moved to Rome, Naples, Frankfurt and then back to Milan. Today I enjoy my city as a grandfather. To me, Milano is walking along the Martesana Canal on Sunday morning. To me, Milano is going to pick up my granddaughter at school and bring her to the park in Porta Venezia, where I usually buy her an ice cream.
To me, Milano is playing with her on the terrace, where we can see the new skyscrapers in the distance and, in the middle of the chaos of the city, the Madonnina Spire. I made a donation because the Duomo is the home of all us.
