A summer at the Milan Duomo
The special evening visits in June and July 2022
The Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo also offers this year an extraordinary opportunity to visit: every time a great emotion, in the heart of Milan, to celebrate the return of summer.
From 2nd June 2022, every Thursday until 28th July, in the season when the colors of the sunset enchant the Candoglia marble, visitors to the Duomo have the special opportunity to go up to the Terraces, with lift (from € 15.00 / 7.00) until 10 pm (the last ascent is scheduled at 8.45 pm).
An experience to do at least once in a lifetime to discover suggestive views and perspectives towards the city, in safety and in compliance with all health regulations in force, with the possibility of admiring the 135 spiers, the ornaments, the statuary, at sunset, the Madonnina and all those architectural preciousness from the Milan Duomo.
After the great success of last year, also this summer the visit in the evening is enriched with a further value: at sunset, from around 8.30 pm, a live musical accompaniment will guide the steps of all those present among the high spiers of the Cathedral.

The emotion of great music doubles this year with a new proposal: Tuesday 14th June and Tuesday 12th July from 6.30 pm, in fact, the Veneranda Fabbrica offers the opportunity to visit the Duomo Museum (Piazza del Duomo, 12) during extraordinary opening, with an aperitif in the evocative internal courtyard where the reproduction of the famous Madonnina is currently located and, to follow, in the neighboring Church of San Gottardo in Corte, an intense concert by the Musical Chapel of the Milan Duomo, directed by Mons. Massimo Palombella.
A unique opportunity to listen, in the heart of the Royal Palace, to the voices of this ancient formation, whose voice has resounded for centuries in the Milan Cathedral, with a Renaissance repertoire performed in its aesthetic relevance. Among the many authors, pages by Orlando di Lasso, Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, Tomás Luis de Victoria and Felice Anerio will be performed.
This truly exclusive event has limited seating capacity, with a ticket at € 25.00.
