Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo di Milano continues its commitment to a functional reception strategy, with a view to constantly improving the quality of the visit experience of tth Historical Complex.
The institution is working hard to offer a complete and pleasant visit experience, also in order to ensure an increasingly optimal and orderly cohabitation of those who enter the Cathedral for personal prayer and for tourist visits.
Below is the update of the accesses and services that apply from 26 August included, with a reference to some rules.
GROUP ENTRANCE SUSPENDED ON SATURDAYS FROM 4.30 PM; SUNDAYS FROM 9.30AM TO 12.30PM AND, IN THE AFTERNOON, FROM 4.30 PM.
ALWAYS ALLOWED, EVEN DURING THESE TIMES, ACCESS FOR GROUPS ON THE TERRACES AND DUOMO MUSEUM.
During the celebrations, the entrance of groups to the Cathedral is suspended on Saturdays from 4.30 pm; Sundays morning from 9.30am to 12.30pm and, in the afternoon, from 4.30 pm.
It is understood that, even during these times, group access is always allowed to the Terraces and the Duomo Museum.
FAST-TRACK SERVICE ACTIVATION (AVAILABLE ONLINE)
Starting from Friday 26 August 2022, the Fast-Track service is reactivated for the visit of the entire Historical Complex or of the Terraces only, with the advantage of the PRIORITY ENTRANCE.
The Fast-Track service is available with access from the south side lift (Royal Palace / Archbishop palace side), every day from 10am to 4pm, with last admission at 4.10 pm.
Tickets are available online only at https://ticket.duomomilano.it/en/ , in the following types:
- FAST TRACK PASS € 26.00 (reduced 6-18 years € 14.00) for visiting all areas of the Historical Complex (Rooftop by lift, Cathedral, Archaeological Area, Duomo Museum and Church of San Gottardo in Corte);
- FAST TRACK ROOFTOP ONLY € 23.00 (reduced 6-18 years € 12.00) for the visit of the Terraces by lift.
GROUP BOOKING THROUGH THE BOOKING PAGE
Please note that tour operators and tourist guides who decide to visit the Historical Complex of the Duomo of Milan, with tourist, school and / or religious groups, must make a reservation through the appropriate "BOOKING" page of the official website of the Duomo of Milan.
MICROPHONE REQUIRED FOR GROUPS
For all groups, starting from 6 people (5 participants + 1 guide / companion), the use of a microphone system (radio guide) is mandatory.
If you do not have your own radio system, you can reserve the radio guides for the time of your booking. Amplification systems such as loudspeakers or similar are strictly not allowed.
We remind to all the kind visitors that, in order to access the Historical Complex, it is necessary to be appropriately dressed. In particular, inside the Cathedral, no-shoulder and / or low-cut clothing, shorts, miniskirts and hats are allowed.
Please note that at Ticket Office 1 - Sala delle Colonne (Piazza del Duomo, 14 / A) it is always possible to purchase the appropriate disposable capes.
As of June 16, 2022, the obligation to wear a mask for the tourist visit to the Monumental Complex of the Milan Cathedral has lapsed (Duomo - Visitor Area, Archaeological Area, Terraces of the Duomo, Museum of the Duomo and Church of San Gottardo in Corte) .
However, it is recommended to use the masks in the most crowded areas of the tour.
It is not necessary to present any type of Green Pass.
Groups must not have more than 30 participants (+ 1 guide / companion); if the visit includes the Archaeological Area (Baptistery of San Giovanni alle Fonti), the participants can be a maximum of 25 (+ 1 guide / companion).
