When the “Symbol of Faith” is presented to the Catechumens.

Opening of the Cathedral 7:45 p.m.
This day commemorates the ancient Rite of Delivery (Traditio) of the Symbol of Faith (the text of the Creed, the synthesis of the entire Christian faith) to the Catechumens, so that they could learn it by heart and thus express their profession of faith before receiving Baptism on Easter night.
At the Vigil in Traditione Symboli, the Archbishop meets the young people in the cathedral and renews the rite of the Handing over of the Creed to the Catechumens, who will receive the Sacraments of Christian Initiation next Easter.
