“Serate d’Incanto” on the Duomo Terraces

From Thursday 11 June to Thursday 10 September 2026, the Duomo di Milano once again tells its story through music with the much‑anticipated summer programme of events on the Cathedral’s Terraces.
From the roof of the Duomo – the only cathedral in the world with a fully walkable rooftop – visitors can enjoy a truly unique viewpoint over the city. Once again this year, Milan residents and tourists alike will be able to admire the Milanese skyline while enjoying a refined musical interlude.
Every Thursday, the programme, curated by Artistic Coordinator Matteo Amadasi, is enriched with new proposals, guiding audiences on a journey through the great classical tradition. The initiative continues the Veneranda Fabbrica’s long‑standing commitment to supporting students from the “G. Verdi” Conservatoire of Music in Milan, with which the collaboration has been renewed again this year.
The series opens on 11 June at 8.30 p.m. with a concert by the Quartet of the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo di Milano, composed of Andrea Pecolo (violin), Stefano Lo Re (violin), Matteo Amadasi (viola) and Alfredo Persichilli (cello).
Alongside the three concerts organised by the Milan Conservatoire, which features a saxophone quartet, a solo violin and an electronic music duo, and the variety of ensembles featured, the programme also includes several evenings of particular importance, from the opening concert by the Quartet in residence at the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo di Milano to the July and September performances starring internationally renowned musicians such as Davide Cabassi, who will perform a piano recital on 16 July, and Michele Gamba, featured in a solo piano concert on 3 September. These events mark some of the most significant moments of the 2026 edition.
Musical performances will also feature soloists Alfredo Persichilli, Simonide Braconi, Luca Ranieri, Mario Marzi, Fabrizio Meloni and Marco Zoni.
DATES AND TIMES:
The programme will vary every Thursday throughout the summer, with starting times adjusted to the changing sunset:

June and July: 8.30 p.m. The Terraces will remain open until 10.00 pm, with last ticket sale at 8.20 pm and last ascent at 8.30 pm;

August: 8 p.m., with last ticket sale at 7.50 pm, last ascent at 8.00 pm, and Terrace closure at 9.30 pm;

September: 7.30 p.m., with last ticket sale at 7.20 pm, last ascent at 7.30 pm, and Terrace closure at 9.00 pm.
Access to the Duomo Terraces for Serate d’Incanto is available via lift (starting from €20.00 full price / €10.00 reduced).
Tickets can be purchased by booking on the official website duomomilano.it. For each individual event, the ticket office service is also available at the Group Ticket Office (Piazza del Duomo, right side of the Cathedral) until the last ascent time and while tickets last.
In the event of rain, the Terraces will remain accessible; however, the musical performance may be suspended. In case of weather alerts, the Veneranda Fabbrica reserves the right to cancel the event.
