In the Virgin Mary, associated with the glory of the risen Lord, we are offered “a sign of consolation and sure hope” (preface of the Mass). Looking to her, we are called to grasp our destiny, because our existence is naturally oriented towards full communion with God. The contemplation of Mary in the mystery of her Assumption is an invitation not to forget our present as well, to give new meaning to every movement of life, so that the words of the Virgin’s Magnificat may resonate in everyone’s daily experience.
You can follow the vigil celebration (Wednesday 14th August) and the Pontifical at 11 a.m. (Thursday 15th August) in streaming on this Site (www.duomomilano.it) from the YouTube channel Duomo Milano Tv
