Little is still known about the statue of this Young Saint. The author is unknown and so is the date of execution, though the typical traits of other Neoclassical statues indicates that it was also produced in the 1800s. The spire is in the South Transept area of the Duomo, near the chapel of St. Giovanni Bono. The figure of the Young Saint is portrayed with right hand on the chest and a proud solemn attitude. The curly haired youth is barefooted and holds the drapes of his robe with his left hand, leaving the chest and strong legs bare.
