On Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at 4:00 PM, the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo will host a new musical event featuring the renowned Californian choir St. Genevieve Valiant Voices, bringing the great tradition of international choral music to the heart of Milan.

Widely recognized as an outstanding ensemble within the American choral scene, the award-winning choir—composed of high school students from St. Genevieve Parish School in Panorama City—has performed on prestigious international stages. In 2023, they participated in the “Voices Together” festival at Carnegie Hall in New York, and in 2024 they sang at Basilica di San Pietro, Vatican City.

In the summer of the same year, the choir triumphed at the World Choir Games in Auckland, New Zealand, winning two Gold Diplomas and the category prize.

Over the years, the ensemble has collaborated with acclaimed artists such as Shirley Jones and Helen Reddy, further cementing its international reputation.

For their Milan concert, which will last approximately 45 minutes, the choir will perform a prestigious program of over ten pieces, including Canticorum Jubilo by G.F. Handel, Ave Maria by Javier Busto, and Irish Blessing by James Moore.

The concert will begin at 4:00 PM inside the Cathedral, with free admission starting at 3:30 PM through the entrance reserved for worshippers, located at the northernmost portal of the façade (Galleria Vittorio Emanuele side), subject to availability.

A special moment where tradition and the beauty of choral music will once again resonate through the majestic naves of Milan’s great Cathedral.
