Walking along the Duomo Terraces you will often come across not only the wonderful statues that adorn the Monument, but also numerous decorations such as fruit baskets, animals, flowers and climbing plants. The Cathedral is a large picture where nature is protagonist and this is a tangible sign of the creativity of many stonecutters over the time.
