Duomo Smart Experience is an innovative guided tour, developed in collaboration with WAY Experience, that combines technology and culture to offer a truly immersive journey into the history and architecture of Milan’s iconic Cathedral. The tour is led by a certified guide and enhanced by five immersive stops that will take you on a journey through the origins of the Duomo: from the transport of its marble along the Navigli canals, to its construction, and a breathtaking view from the top of its spires. The tour concludes with direct access to the interior of the Cathedral.
The Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo di Milano, in collaboration with WAY Experience, presents Duomo Smart Experience — a new guided tour that blends technology and culture to offer a complete and accessible experience for everyone.
In about 60 minutes, visitors will dive into the history and architecture of the Cathedral through a three-part itinerary:
Guided tour outside the Duomo: The first three immersive stops explore the story behind the construction of the Duomo, offering a unique perspective on its origins.
Guided tour inside the Duomo Museum: Two immersive stops continue the narrative, unveiling the Cathedral’s secrets and guiding visitors all the way to the top — to the spectacular spires and terraces. Inside the Museum, you will also be able to see a life-size replica of the iconic Madonnina.
Access to the Cathedral: After the guided tour, participants can access autonomously The Duomo, optimizing the visit time.
