This martyr has not yet been identified, but he could represent the youth that carries the will from previous generations, with the mission of leaving the world a little better than how they found it; in fact, many martyrs are represented at a young age, as it is well known that good ideals usually reside in the youngest. This statue is the last character that is part of the South walkway, internal side, before the Gugliotti that surround the Guglia Maggiore. The statue seems in fact to introduce the protagonist of this gigantic procession: the Virgin Mary.
