The Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo di Milano, in order to constantly improve the methods of use and reception of visitors, has undertaken a process of reorganising the booking methods for groups visiting the Milan Duomo Monumental Complex.
The new methods for all Third-Party Groups, i.e. the groups who independently manage their visit to the places in the Monumental Complex (with their own guide or accompanying person), are communicated below and will be in force from 3 June 2024, for visits that take place from 24 June 2024.
Indeed, starting from 3 June 2024, for these Third-Party Groups, it will be mandatory to proceed with the booking and purchase of tickets and rental of the microphone system exclusively via a dedicated call centre. The service will allow for the selection of the types of tickets, the places, the times, the visiting dates and the rental of the microphone system.
The person requesting the booking must register and be verified; once this process has been completed, it will then be possible to finalise the booking by purchasing the tickets which will be sent via email.
The call centre service replies from Monday to Saturday (excluding holidays), from 10am to 5pm, on the telephone number +39. 02 89919751.
Furthermore, you are reminded that, for all groups who enter the Milan Duomo Monumental Complex composed of at least 6 people (5 participants + 1 guide/accompanying person), use of the microphone system (radio guide/whispers) is mandatory. Amplification systems such as loud speakers or similar are not permitted.
For tourist, school and/or religious groups, advance booking is strongly recommended to allow for better management of the flow of people.
Groups without a booking or who do not respect the booked time are not entitled to priority entrance.
The Duomo Infopoint customer assistance and information service and the ticket office dedicated to groups with the radio guide rental point are found in the external facility located in Duomo Square, on the right-hand side of the Cathedral, open every day from 9am to 6pm.
For organisational reasons, it is possible to request that this structure print the tickets. After verification of availability of the day’s visits, it will not be possible to issue tickets for a future date. A maximum of 5 tickets can be bought online per transaction.
These provisions also apply to the Public Administration.
To visit the Archaeological Area–Baptistery of Santo Stefano (with access via the North Lift) the previous rules remain valid: a maximum of 10 participants per group plus the guide and/or accompanying person (maximum of 2 per group); access is guaranteed by sending an email to [email protected] at least 5 working days prior to the date chosen for the visit.
