Access for Worshippers
Those who enter the Duomo of Milan for prayer, services and the sacraments can access the church through a reserved area, observing the current provisions on Covid-19 prevention.
Free entry through the side door of the Duomo (transcept of San Giovanni Bono)
Every day: 6,50-8.30am *
Free entry through the façade (north door)
Every day: 8am-6,30pm * (last entry 6.30pm)
* Opening times may be subject to change due to liturgical services in the Cathedral
The modes of access for personal prayer, participation in liturgical services and for the Sacrament of Penance follow the guidelines in the Memorandum signed by the Italian Government and the Episcopal Conference of Italy, and the indications of the Archdiocese of Milan.
In particular, please note that:
- Entry will not be permitted to those with respiratory flu-like symptoms, a body temperature equal to or above 37.5°C (99.5°F), or those who have been in contact with people positive with SARS-CoV-2 in recent days.
- It is mandatory to maintain and respect a safe distance of 1.5m (5ft) between people and to follow rules regarding hand sanitisation when entering Duomo.
- It is mandatory to use suitable personal protection, starting with a mask that covers the outh and nose
